Capture decisions from Slack—without archiving every message

Most company decisions happen in Slack. Most knowledge tools either ignore chat or dump the whole history into a brain nobody trusts. Ignius sits in the middle: read-only signals, human confirm, structured nodes.

How it works

  1. Connect Slack (read-only). Threads, mentions, and decision-shaped conversations surface in your context list.
  2. Review the queue — nothing saves until you approve it. No silent surveillance, no full export.
  3. File in groups — operator escalation, vendor pricing, franchise onboarding. Separate baskets, clear boundaries.
  4. Ask later — answers cite the Slack thread, Jira ticket, or GitHub PR they came from.

Example

A $62k shipper dispute gets resolved in #finance. Finance and legal agree on escalation thresholds. That thread becomes a node: summary, source link, confidence score. Six months later, a new ops lead asks “when do disputes go to finance same-day?”—and gets the answer with the Slack citation, not a stale wiki page.

What we do not do

  • Mirror your entire Slack workspace into a searchable blob
  • Auto-save messages without human confirm
  • Build employee surveillance under the guise of “AI memory”

Slack is one of three launch integrations alongside GitHub and Jira. See Company Brain or try the Horizon Logistics demo.
